一年之后，在一个商贸云集、热烈隆重的社交场合，一位西装革履、风度翩翩的推销商迎上这位商人，不无感激地自我介绍道："您可能早已忘记我了，而我也不知道您的名字，但我永远不会忘记您。您就是那位重新给了我自尊和自信的人。我一直觉得自己是个推销铅笔的乞丐，直到您亲口对我说，我和您一样都是商人为止。"

尊重，是一缕春风、一泓清泉、一颗给人温暖的舒心丸、一剂催人奋进的强心剂。它常常与真诚、谦逊、宽容、赞赏、善于良、友爱相得益彰，与虚伪、狂妄、苛刻、嘲讽、凶恶、势利水火不容。给成功的人以尊重，表明了自己对别人成功的敬佩、赞美与追求；给失败的人以尊重，表明了自己对别人失败后的同情、安慰与鼓励。只要有尊重在，就有人间的真情在，就有未来的希望在，就有成功后的继续奋进，就有失败后的东山再起。
