在高能量密度电池材料以及高安全性电解质方面做出了系列创新性成果。在Energy & Environmental Science、Advanced Energy Materials、ACS Nano、Advanced Functional Materials、Materials Today等期刊发表SCI论文200余篇,他引10000余次,入选全球高被引科学家(2022)。山东省自然科学二等奖(排名第1)获得发明专利授权40余项。入选国家级青年人才项目(2021)、山东省泰山学者、山东省杰青、山大杰青等项目和称号。与新加坡国立大学、美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学等多所高校具有良好的合作关系。承担了多项国家级和省级项目,并与多家企业建立了合作关系。中国化学会高级会员,美国化学会会员,Nature 出版社Scientific Reports 编委、ChemPhysMate编委、Energy & Environmental Materials、Susmat、Rare Metals、Infomat、Tungsten、工程科学学报、物理化学学报青年编委。Nature Energy, Nature Commun, Science Advance 等期刊审稿人。
