Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo def. Kale Dixon
Missing more than a year due to a debilitating injury has done nothing to reduce the confidence radiating from Kale Dixon.
Dixon jumped right into the deep end in his return bout, taking on former NXT Tag Team Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and chucking him across the ring with an arm drag.
Though he showed guts by kicking out of a vicious clothesline and earning a two-count on a leaping flatliner, Dixon was soon on the receiving end of a decisive Cement Shoes from The Underboss.
Lola Vice def. Wren Sinclair
Though she’s no longer carrying the contract that she earned by winning the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, Lola Vice proved that she’s just as dangerous as ever during her tilt with newcomer Wren Sinclair.
Sinclair displayed incredible quickness in the early goings, seamlessly transitioning from rollup pin attempts to submission holds and controlling the pace.
Vice got going by relying on several clubbing haymakers and a ruthless kick to the spine, and she earned the win by hitting a reverse elbow strike “straight from the 3-0-5.”
Je’Von Evans def. Javier Bernal
Nineteen-year-old Je’Von Evans left the WWE Universe demanding more after his jaw-dropping debut match, a narrow loss to Brooks Jensen.
Tasked with battling the pesky Javier Bernal, who defeated Keanu Carver in his most recent match on NXT Level Up, Evans received a raucous welcome from the NXT Universe and cartwheeled out of his opponent’s clutches before springing off the top rope and slinging Bernal across the ring with a hurricanrana.
Evans was seemingly just getting warmed up, as he clocked the hard-charging Bernal with a kick to the face, sprang off the top rope and went sky-high to land a clothesline. After kicking out of a DDT, Evans responded with a boot to the face and a modified corkscrew from the turnbuckles for his first career win.
