Applicants should have obtained a bachelor's degree from a university or tertiary institution. For those who are not econ/business major, a strong quantitative background and a commitment to academic study and research are expected.
English Proficiency RequirementsApplicants whose first language is not English and whose degree or equivalent qualification was awarded by an institution where the medium of instruction was not English will also have to meet the University English Requirements:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)Internet-based test (iBT) score ≥ 80 (in one single attempt)Paper-based test (pBT) score ≥ 550TOEFL - Revised Paper-delivered Test: 60 (total scores for Reading, Listening and Writing sections); ORInternational English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Academic Moduleoverall score ≥ 6.5, with all sub-scores ≥ 5.5.

TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date. Test at home option is not accepted.
