New Student Steps to EnrollReady to apply to ACC? Getting started is easy at Austin Community College. We have an open admissions policy, and there are no application fees (except for international applicants). It takes just a few steps to enroll. Once you complete these steps, you’re eligible to take credit classes at any of our 11 campuses or online. Applications are accepted year-round. Applying early ensures you’ll be ready when it’s time to register for classes.

Apply for Financial Aid
Most students and families are eligible for some type of financial aid – from grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study. Learn how you can access the funds you need on our Paying for College webpage.
Retrieve Your ACCeID and ACCmail email account.
ACCeIDYou’ll need your ACCeID to do most tasks at ACC, including logging into MyACC, Blackboard, and other online resources. Retrieve your ACCeID.
ACCmailACCmail is the official form of communication at ACC. Your ACCmail account allows you to conduct official ACC business and receive important information about your ACC accounts and classes. ACCmail Activation & Login Assistance.
Step 3: Attend Orientation, Register, and PayGet Ready for Registration
To register for classes as a new Riverbat, select which applies to you from the options below:

Are you receiving ACC Free Tuition? The college still recommends that you take advantage of the all financial aid options to help cover other expenses such as textbooks, transportation, housing, and living expenses.
Note: Free Tuition does NOT cover all college expenses and fees. Make sure you pay all your fees and expenses or you will be dropped from your classes.

Important DatesACC’s academic calendar has 16-week semesters in the fall and spring and an 11-week semester in summer. Shorter sessions are also offered within each semester to provide students a variety of course lengths and start times. Don’t wait to complete the admission steps! Apply to ACC early so you’ll be ready when key registration dates arrive.
