□ 定位与目标
运营与供应链管理主要研究的是如何在现代全球经济中制造与配送产品、提供服务。针对越来越多可用的数据，本方向主要采用数学建模(包括确定性模型与随机模型)、博弈论、经济分析与计算实验等方法，主要研究包括供应链库存管理、供应链渠道管理、供应链物流与信息管理等方面的问题。
□ 优势与特色
（1）供应链库存管理（主要研究者：沈厚才、肖条军、陈国华、李娟）
在供应链库存管理方面，以沈厚才教授为首的团队在备货型（Make-to-Stock）生产库存系统、按单装配（Assemble-to-Order）生产库存系统等方面做了大量的研究工作。在2012年至2015年期间获得了包括国家自然科学基金在内的5项基金项目资助，发表了20多篇SCI/SSCI高水平学术论文，其中包括管理科学与工程学科A类期刊Operations Management与Production and Operations Management，以及European Journal of Operational Research、International Journal of Production Economics、International Journal of Production Research、IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control等国际期刊。
（2）供应链渠道管理（主要研究者：肖条军、李娟、徐峰、刘帆、张莲民）
此方向以博弈论为主要工具，结合行为科学，探讨物流与供应链管理前沿问题，尤其是供应链渠道管理。团队负责人肖条军教授是国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，以肖条军教授为首的研究团队在这方面做了大量的研究工作。在2012年至2015年期间获得了包括国家自然科学基金在内的6项基金项目资助; 在Decision Sciences、IIE Transactions、IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management、European Journal of Operational Research、International Journal of Production Economics、Computer and Industrial Engineering等国际期刊发表20 篇高水平论文。研究成果《不确定环境下博弈理论、方法与应用》获得2015年教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（科学技术）自然科学二等奖(1/5)。肖条军教授连续两年入选爱思唯尔发布的中国高被引学者榜单（决策科学）。同时被评选为科学中国人（2014）年度人物。2013年获（第六届）教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果（人文社会科学）二等奖（1/2)。2014年获得国家杰出青年科学基金等。
（3）供应链物流与信息管理（主要研究者：周跃进、李敬泉、胡骞、罗志兴）
此方向基于传统运筹学优化方法，结合大数据时代数据分析等技术，为企业中面临的复杂问题，提供科学的解决方案。以周跃进教授为首的团队结合企业的物流需求，研究了企业物流规划、物流外包决策、供应链运输决策等问题，在2012年至2015年期间获得了包括国家自然科学基金在内的5项基金项目资助，在Omega - International Journal of Management Science、Transportation Research Part B: Methodological、European Journal of Operational Research、Naval Research Logistics等国际期刊发表7篇。李敬泉老师获得2012年中国物流与采购信息化优秀案例奖， 2012、2015年度物流与采购联合会科学技术进步一等奖。本方向拥有江苏省物流和供应链管理行业的唯一省级工程中心——江苏省物流技术工程中心和江苏省南京大学重点物流研究基地。同时本单位是全国物流工程硕士点牵头单位。
