为促进高校优秀研究生之间的学术交流，充分利用研究生教育的优质资源，推动统计与数据科学学科交叉，2024年华东师范大学统计学院研究生暑期学校将于6月30日-7月7日线下举办。本次暑期学校邀请了国内外杰出专家学者，围绕“统计与数据科学前沿理论及方法”，聚焦机器学习、因果推断等领域的学术前沿动态和发展趋势，通过短课程和长学术讲座的形式，为热爱统计的学生和学者提供深入探讨和交流的平台。现将有关事项通知如下：

二、招生对象
国内外统计学、数据科学、大数据分析及相关专业的青年教师，博士、硕士研究生，高年级本科生。需具备良好的数理基础，对统计学或数据科学有浓厚兴趣，有志于从事学术研究工作或攻读博士学位，有较强或潜在的研究能力。
三、报名方式
本期暑期学校即日起接受报名。
1、报名及录取方式：扫描页面下方二维码提交报名申请。申请者需点击下载附件：2024年华东师范大学统计学研究生暑期学校报名表.doc。填写报名表相关内容并签署导师意见及加盖单位公章，扫描此报名表上传至问卷中。由组委会筛选报名学员确定正式学员，拟录取学员不超过50人。

2、报名截止日期：2024年6月24日，组委会将于6月26日通过邮件通知录取学员。
3、学员待遇：华东师范大学统计学院为外地学员安排住宿，可报销二等座高铁票。为所有学员提供餐补（用餐地点为校内，餐票形式）。
4、学习结束并考核合格的，颁发本期暑期学校的结业证书（电子版）。

Xiaowu Dai is an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science and Department of Biostatistics at UCLA. Before joining UCLA, he did a postdoc at UC Berkeley working with Prof. Michael I. Jordan, and received a Ph.D. in Statistics at UW-Madison advised by Prof. Grace Wahba. His research focuses on statistical theory and methodology for real-world problems that blend computational, inferential, and economic considerations.
Dr. Zijian Guo is an associate professor at the Department of Statistics at Rutgers University. He obtained Ph.D. in Statistics in 2017 from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include causal inference, multi-source learning, machine learning for statistical tasks, high-dimensional statistics, and nonstandard statistical inference.
刘林目前就职于上海交通大学自然科学研究院、数学科学学院、上海交大-耶鲁生物统计与数据科学中心，国家青年人才计划入选者，主要研究方向为非/半参数理论、因果推断及统计应用。
Dr. Wenbin Lu is Professor of Statistics at North Carolina State University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics at Columbia University in 2003. His research interests include biostatistics, causal inference, high-dimensional data analysis, statistical and machine learning methods for precision medicine, and network data analysis. He has published more than 130 papers in a variety of statistical journals and machine learning conferences, including Biometrika, JASA, JRSSB, AOS, AAAI, ICML, and NIPS. His research is partly funded by several grants from the National Institute of Health. He is an Editor for Journal of Nonparametric Statistics and an Associate Editor for Electronic Journal of Statistics, Biostatistics and Statistica Sinica. He is a fellow of American Statistical Association.
苗旺现为北京大学概率统计系和统计科学中心助理教授，国家青年人才计划入选者， 2008-2017年在北京大学数学科学学院读本科和博士，2017-2018年在哈佛大学生物统计系做博士后研究，2018年入职北京大学光华管理学院，2020年调入数学科学学院。主要研究方向包括因果推断，缺失数据，半参数统计及其应用，与合作者提出混杂分析的代理推断理论，发展非随机缺失数据的识别性和双稳健估计理论，以及数据融合的半参数理论，获得国家重点研发计划青年科学家项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目资助。
Shu Yang is Associate Professor of Statistics, Goodnight Early Career Innovator, and University Faculty Scholar at North Carolina State University. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Iowa State University and postdoctoral training at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her primary research interest is causal inference and data integration, particularly with applications to comparative effectiveness research in health studies. She also works extensively on methods for missing data and spatial statistics. She has been Principal Investigator for several U.S. NSF, NIH, and FDA research projects. She is one of the recent recipients of the COPSS Emerging Leader Award.
