Foundation year entry requirementsEngineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics)National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics.Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses)National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 85% in biology and chemistry.
Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine.
ONCAMPUS Southampton Foundation ProgrammesUndergraduate entry requirementsTo be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
UK A levels obtained in ChinaInternational Baccalaureate (IB): Between 28 and 38 pointsFirst year of a relevant degree from a highly ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 75-88 % Postgraduate entry requirementsMost of our Masters programmes require you to achieve equivalent to a 2.1. Bachelors degree awarded by a high ranked Chinese university with an average grade of at least 70-88%, dependent on awarding institution.
